There is little to compare with casting accurately with a beautifully made vintage Fly Fishing Rod.
Here we have not only vintage Fishing equipment but also books and ephemera on fishing. We hope they will be useful.

Vintage Fishing Equipment has been slowly rising in value but I believe it has a long way to go before it peaks.

 

Anqiue Reels by Hardy are particularly in demand and auctions get fairly high prices for them.

An overlooked area of fishing equipment is CREELS and some of the finest creels fetch very high prices indeed

 

 

 

Fishing equipment still turns up every week though either from house clearances or at car boot sales.

 

It is well worth while checking out boot sales,jumble sales or fleamarkets for rare pieces.

 

You might even see yourself on Antiques Roadshow one day..
